COAL GROVE — The Coal Grove Lady Hornets went five sets as they beat the Portsmouth Lady Trojans Tuesday in the Division III sectional volleyball tournament.

Coal Grove won 27-29, 25-18, 25-19, 21-25 and 15-4 in the tiebreaker.

Brooke Blakeman ahd 15 points and Kaitlyn Murphy 12 points to lead the Lady Hornets. Shae Willis added 9 points and Leslie Mulkey hammered 16 kills.

Coal Grove will play at Wheelersburg on Saturday in the sectional finals at 4 p.m.
