OAK HILL — A 38-point first quarter scoring explosion fueled the Oak Hill Oaks to a 58-13 Southern Ohio Conference win Friday over the Green Bobcats.

Oak Hill finished the regular season 8-2 and won a fourth SOC title in five years as they posted a 4-0 league record.

The Oaks qualified for the Division VI playoffs.

Andrew Kearns led the Oaks with 213 yards on just 12 carries. He scored on touchdown runs of 58 and 98 yards in the fourth quarter.

Willy Harris had 100 yards on seven carries and Chris Coy added 71 yards on four attempts.

The Oaks finished with 537 total yards including 423 on the ground.

Green (2-8, 0-4) had 211 total yards. Quarterback Clay Applegate ran for 44 yards and a score and was 6-of-13 passing for 99 yards and a touchdown.

Mark Allen ran eight times for 38 yards and caught a 67-yard scoring pass for the Bobcats.
