OVC girls’ basketball previews set Friday

The Ohio Valley Conference girls’ basketball previews will be held Friday at South Point High School.

Each game will consist of two quarters. Admission is $5. Here is the schedule:

6:00 River Valley vs. Coal Grove; 7:00 Chesapeake vs. Rock Hill; 8:00 South Point vs. Fairland.

All-OVC awards for fall sports will be presented between the second and third games.

5:00 Eastern vs. Wheelersburg; 5:40 Green vs. South Webster; 6:20 Oak Hill vs. Symmes Valley; 7:00 Lucasville Valley vs. New Boston; 8:20 Clay vs. Minford; 9:00 Western vs. Portsmouth West; 9:40 East vs. Waverly.

5:00 Northwest vs. Sciotoville East; 5:40 Minford vs. Western; 6:20 Wheelersburg vs. Portsmouth Clay; 7:00 Symmes Valley vs. Portsmouth West; 7:40 Green vs. Oak Hill; 8:20 South Webster vs. New Boston; 9:00 Waverly vs. Portsmouth Notre Dame; 9:40 Eastern vs. Lucasville Valley.

 

Area playoff schedule

Friday: Lucasville Valley vs. Newark Catholic at Nelsonville-York, 7:30. Saturday: Wheelersburg vs. Martins Ferry at Hamilton Township, 7 p.m.
