COAL GROVE — Rawlins came callin’.
South Point’s Haley Rawlins scored 15 points to lead the Lady Pointers to a 51-39 win over the Fairview Lady Eagles Saturday in the Coal Grove Giovanni’s Pizza River Battle.
The Lady Pointers had eight players in the scoring column as they improved to 5-1.
Brittany Bell scored 12 and Mackenzie Humphrey 11 for Fairview (1-3).
Rawlins hit a pair of 3-pointer as she scored 8 points in the first quarter and Brianna Bacon added a trey as South Point took an 18-10 lead.
Both teams struggled offensively in the second quarter and South Point led 25-16 at the half.
Brooklyn Badget scored 5 points and Rawlins 4 more as South Point took a 45-30 cushion and coasted to the win.
South Point visits Gallipolis on Monday.
