Published 11:01am Monday, December 23, 2013

Another of Lawrence County’s Most Wanted probation violators was apprehended last week in an ongoing effort to send a message that not reporting to the Adult Probation Agency will not go unpunished.

Joshua Harless, 30, was arrested Monday, Dec. 16, the day his photo appeared on the Most Wanted list.

APA Chief Carl Bowen II said his office, as well as the Proctorville Police Department, received a tip on the man’s location.

Bowen said the two agencies, as well as deputies from the sheriff’s office followed up on the leads after Monday’s Shop with a Cop event.

Harless was found at a home in Burlington.

Sgt. Randy Thompson with Proctorville PD found the man hiding in a closet.
