CHESAPEAKE — It was four to score and more.

Four Chesapeake Lady Panthers scored in double figures and combined for 26 rebounds in a 57-37 rout of the River Valley Lady Raiders Wednesday in an Ohio Valley Conference game.

Jordan Porter had 18 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Lady Panthers (6-4, 1-2). Kaylee Curry had 14 points and eight rebounds, Sydnee Hall got 10 points and eight rebounds, and Atiya Spaulding compiled 10 points and six steals.

“It was good to see four girls score in double figures. I don’t know if I can remember us ever doing that since I’ve been here,” said Lady Panthers’ coach Chris Ball.

Shelby Brown scord 10 points for River Valley (4-6, 1-2).

Hall scored six points in the first quarter as Chesapeake took a 13-12 lead.

Porter had eight points and Curry six in the second quarter as the Lady Panthers outscored River Valley 19-10 to build a 32-22 halftime lead.

The Chesapeake defense held the Lady Raiders to eight points in the third quarter and the lead grew to 46-30.

Spaulding dropped in seven points in the fourth quarter as the lead continued to grow and Ball emptied his bench.
