Resident praises diligent city workers

Published 11:10am Wednesday, February 12, 2014

I would like to sincerely thank the courageous work force of the City of Ironton.

While the local news is consistently reporting service outages around the Tri-State, our city employees have excelled in keeping our services running. I cannot imagine being on a sanitation route in the conditions Mother Nature has delivered this winter.

Nor, being in a frozen and wet hole repairing water lines. I am sure that I am not the only citizen who is appreciative. Thank you so much for a job well done.

I pray the weather will warm soon and you can warm up also.
