Petty theft, criminal trespass — Walmart, South Point, Feb. 2, man allegedly tried to leave store without paying for cosmetic, automotive and hardware items; John Ratliff, 29, of 1486 County Road 21, Ironton, arrested.

Domestic violence — 500 block County Road 123, Chesapeake, Feb. 3, woman alleged live-in boyfriend slapped her and pulled her hair; Brandon Cremeans, 24, of the same address, arrested.

Assault unlawful restraint — 110 block Township Road 616, South Point, Feb. 4, woman alleged another woman punched her in the face and kicked her during a dispute about a food stamp card.

Petty theft, assault, criminal damaging, criminal trespass — Walmart, South Point, Feb. 6, man allegedly concealed two video game system controllers in his pants; when taken into custody, man allegedly became aggressive with loss prevention officer; Jeffery Sutton, 27, of 6701 Francis Branch Road, Ona, W.Va., arrested.

Domestic violence — A private drive off County Road 26, Ironton, Feb. 9, man alleged nephew injured him during a dispute; Brandon Cooper, 25, of the same address, arrested.

Petty theft — Walmart, South Point, Feb. 9, man allegedly left store without paying for razor; Timothy Petro, of 2112 Bladen Road, Crown City, arrested.

Petty theft, possession of drugs — Walmart, South Point, Feb. 13, woman allegedly switched price tags on clothing items; loss prevention officer alleged the woman has attempted to buy meth-making materials on other occasions; deputies searched the woman’s vehicle and allegedly found a white substance that other passenger identified as meth; William Neace, 49, of 715 Jeff Valley, Greenup, Ky., and Jonda Brown, 33, of 3566 Leatherwood, Garrison, Ky., arrested.

Improperly discharging firearm, theft — 400 block Township Road 190, Waterloo, Feb. 3, man alleged friend shot a gun into his home and stole tools and cash from the residence.

Theft — 200 block State Route 271, Kitts Hill, Feb. 17, man reported the check from the sale of his vehicle bounced.

Rape — 2900 block County Road 61, Kitts Hill, Feb. 19, woman reported that her 23-year-old daughter said she was allegedly raped several times from 1993 to 2003.
