Resisting arrest, possession of drugs — County Road 107, Chesapeake, March 13, deputy reported seeing a white car pass vehicles and run several cars off the road; after deputy pulled suspect over, suspect allegedly was uncooperative during pat-down and tried to get away from deputy; two alprazolams allegedly found in suspect’s pocket; Trent Smoot, 35, of 2716 County Road 15, South Point, arrested.

Domestic violence — 60 block Township Road 1255, Proctorville, March 15, woman alleged husband grabbed her arms and shook her; Ronald Lyons, 72, of the same address, arrested.

Domestic violence — 80 block Township Road 176, Crown City, March 13, woman alleged boyfriend began kicking her with steel-toe boots; suspect left before deputies arrived.

Aggravated burglary — 1000 block County Road 1, South Point, March 15, woman alleged another woman came into her apartment uninvited and assaulted her; deputy reported not seeing any visible injuries; suspect was notified a report would be filed.

Domestic violence — County Road 1, South Point, March 15, woman alleged boyfriend became violent with her and put her in a headlock and punched her in the head and face; woman fled to a gas station to call for help; negative contact with suspect.

Domestic violence — 3900 block State Route 775, Proctorville, March 15, woman alleged her husband hit her in the mouth with his coffee cup, punched her in the face and choked her.

Petty theft, possession of dangerous drugs — Walmart, South Point, March 16, man allegedly tried to leave store without paying for items; man alleged had prescription pills in his pocket; Eric Ross, 41, of 1413 28th St., Huntington, W.Va., arrested.

Domestic violence — 1100 block County Road 1, South Point, March 16, woman alleged husband threatened to kill her and himself; Bryan Murphy, 45, of the same address, arrested.

Petty theft — Walmart, South Point, March 17, woman allegedly tried to leave store without paying for items; Kimberly Jackson, 42, of 78 Township Road 1026, South Point, cited to court.

Domestic violence — 1100 blcok County Road 1, South Point, March 17, woman alleged her boyfriend’s sister assaulted her; Malissa Sizemore, 25, of the same address, arrested.

Petty theft — 1300 block County Road 1, South Point, flatscreen TVs taken from residence.
