Ohio slips past Cleveland State

ATHENS — Freshman Antonio Campbell scored 19 of his 21 points in the second half as the Ohio Bobcats beat Cleveland State 64-62 Wednesday in the College Insiders’ Tournament.

Campbell was starting in place of senior center Jon Smith who left the team two days ago.

Treg Setty added 13 points for Ohio (24-11).

Bryn Forbes scored 20 points for Cleveland State (21-12).

Ohio hosts IPFW at 2 p.m. Saturday.
