For several years we have all seen the slow demise of the overall condition of King’s Daughters Medical Center. Now a great doctor is under attack. Where are the “top dogs” who were his peers — directors, managers and protectors — at more than $1 million per year?

I’ve been told Fred Jackson is in the sunny south. Where is Mr. Jackson’s heart as we see Dr. Richard E. Paulus’ dedicated heart still in front of the MDNC Heart and Vascular Center? Shall it remain?

Now we have a woman CEO, Kristie Whitlatch. May she be hands-on and have her patients and doctors in her heart first.
