Truth is state’s enemy

It’s been said, “If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such a time as the state can shield the people from the political, economic or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the state to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the state.”

In 2007, 2008 and 2009, we were warned that the North Pole would be “ice-free” by 2013 because of “man-made” Global Warming.

We are being asked to waste “billions and trillions” on “renewable energy” that provides 3 percent of our energy needs.

AEP has requested rate increases which would raise rates 17 percent for all classes.

Obama’s EPA has proposed changes to our current regulations, based on data which they refuse to make available for public review. On data that is decades old.

The EPA’s own carbon accounting shows if every coal-fired plant in America were shut down, the earth’s temperature would be reduced 1/20th of one degree Fahrenheit over 100 years.

Any carbon reductions in the U.S. will be dwarfed by increased emissions in other parts of the world.

Worldwide, new coal-fired power plants are coming online monthly. They do not follow current US emission regulations, let alone the new proposed stricter standards.

Every time I hear “Global Warming” I immediately think — “if you tell a big lie and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it.”
