Drug Abuse — Private drive off County Road 1128, Chesapeake, Aug. 16, male allegedly had Xanax pill not prescribed to him; Cody Williamson, 22, of 95 Private Drive 3 Township Road 1128, cited to court.

Domestic violence — 200 block Township Road 223, South Point, Aug. 15, woman alleged 16-year-old son choked younger sister and yelled at her; mother worried son is becoming increasingly violent; juvenile arrested and taken to group home.

Domestic violence — 2900 block State Route 243, Ironton, Aug. 15, man alleged his mother-in-law assaulted him with a broom while he was holding his child.

Breaking and entering — 8000 block County Road 1, South Point, Aug. 15, dry wall and purses taken from residence.

Petty theft — 8100 block County Road 107, Proctorville, Aug. 15, scrap metal taken from outside of residence.

Theft of motor vehicle — 8700 block State Route 650, Pedro, Aug. 15, ATV taken from backyard of residence.

Petty theft — 90 block Township Road 510 N., South Point, Aug. 15, vehicles broken into.

Assault, criminal damaging and criminal trespass — 2200 block County Road 105, Kitts Hill, Aug. 16, woman alleged towing agency came to her property to repossess two vehicles and damaged her property while doing so; woman alleged the employees said she could remove batteries from vehicles but they assaulted man who was trying to do so; employees alleged no one was given permission to remove batteries and a male suspect pushed one of the drivers; no one arrested at time of incident.

Domestic violence — Intersection of U.S. 52 and Township Road 268, Ironton, Aug. 17, woman alleged man grabbed her arm while she was driving and choked her; male suspect was alleged intoxicated and was transported to King’s Daughters Medical Center after vomiting on the scene.
