SOUTH POINT — A South Point couple was arrested Wednesday morning following a drug bust by the Lawrence Drug and Major Crimes Task Force.

Susan Elaine Hanshaw, 51, and Nicholas L. Hanshaw, 58, of 719 County Road 15, were charged with second-degree felony charges of trafficking in drugs following the executing of a search warrant by the task force.

According to a press release from Lawrence County Prosecuting Attorney Brigham Anderson’s Office, investigators found oxycodone tablets, cash and weapons.

The pair will be arraigned Friday in Lawrence County Municipal Court.
