Petty theft — 50 block Township Road 1034, South Point, Sept. 1, wallet taken from vehicle.

Petty theft — 100 block Township Road 1019, South Point, Sept. 1, bundles of shingles taken from residence.

Breaking and entering, vandalism, theft — 7200 block County Road 107, Proctorville, Sept. 3, two 50-foot rolls of copper wire taken from construction site.

Endangering children, juvenile offenses — 1200 block Township Road 158, Chesapeake, Sept. 3, children services worker reported home unfit for child to live in; child removed from home.

Theft — 1400 block County Road 411, Proctorville, Sept. 3, man alleged his secretary for his home business has stolen items from his home and used his cars and credit cards without permission.

Theft — 50 block Township Road 1281, Proctorville, Sept. 3, $2,000 in old coins taken; suspect named.

Petty theft — 20 block Township Road 1197, Chesapeake, Sept. 4, lawn mower taken from shed.

Theft — 1100 block County Road 26, Ironton, Sept. 4, wallet taken from vehicle.

Assault — 100 block Township Road 1280, Proctorville, Sept. 4, woman alleged ex-husband walked into her home uninvited and demanded their child’s food stamp card; man allegedly grabbed woman’s arm and cut her with fingernail.

Burglary — 100 block Township Road 1019, South Point, Sept. 4, woman reported gun stolen from residence.

Domestic violence — A private drive off State Route 7 in Athalia, Sept. 5, woman alleged live-in boyfriend threw her on the couch and wouldn’t let her up; suspect allegedly broke ashtray over her arm and shoved her phone in her mouth when she tried to call the sheriff’s office; Donald Combs, 47, of the same address, arrested.
