PINE GROVE — Brent Morgan took the day off. His Coal Grove teammates didn’t seem to miss a swing.

Chase McKnight fired a 43 and Tori Holmes had a 45 to lead the younger group of Hornets to a tri-match golf win Monday at the Ironton Country Club.

Coal Grove had a 176-team score with Ryan Malone carding a 48, Alex Gillete 50, Ethan Wilson 52 and Luke Thompson 58.

Morgan and regulars Brandon Adkins and Trevor Deere did not play.

The Rock Hill Redmen had a 222 total with Logan Reed shooting a 43. Austin Barcus shot a 57, Chase Rowe 58, Andrew Brammer 59 and Jason Haywood 63.

The St. Joseph Flyers finished with a 234 score as Bryson Adkins shot a 45. James Carter was next at 61 followed by Kaitlin Thompson with a 63, Ben McDonald 65 and Bentley Meade 69.
