Aggravated burglary — 600 block Township Road 1010, Chesapeake, Oct. 5, man alleged another man used a chainsaw to cut into his front door in an attempt to gain entry; negative contact with suspect.

Petty theft — JBS Gas Station, Chesapeake, Oct. 4, driver left without paying for gas.

Domestic violence — 30 block Township Road 1179, Chesapeake, Oct. 4, woman alleged father-in-law threatened to assault her; James Music, 56, of the same address, arrested.

Inducing panic, making terroristic threat, unruly child — Ironton High School, Oct. 3, student allegedly told others he would shoot them; juvenile arrested and taken to group home.

Sexual imposition — Fairland Middle School, Oct. 3, second-grade girl alleged seventh-grade boy places his hands under her shirt while on the school bus; male juvenile allegedly admitted it; juvenile cited to court and released to guardian; suspended from school for 10 days.

Burglary — 200 block Township Road 1107, Proctorville, Oct. 5, man alleged his elderly mother’s home was being broken into while he was checking on the property; man alleged chased down the subject to try and hold him but he eventually got away; subject alleged left backpack with woman’s belongings inside.

Breaking and entering — 500 block County Road 411, Proctorville, Oct. 5, air compressor, auger and weed eater taken from garage.

Burglary, vandalism, petty theft — 400 block County Road 12, Proctorville, Oct. 2, electrical wiring and wood stove taken from vacant property.

Burglary — 200 block Township Road 111, Ironton, Oct. 5, man reported door of residence open when he returned home; nothing appears to be missing.

Robbery — County Road 120, South Point, Oct. 5, woman walking to work reported man on bike said he wanted her belongings and came towards her; woman used pepper spray and suspect ran off.
