There’s a new barbershop and salon opening on Saturday in Ironton that is offering another reason for students to do well in school.

“Students in fourth through 12th-grades who are on the honor roll get free haircuts,” Antonio Murphy, owner of 1st Impressions Barbershop and Salon, said. “All they have to provide is a report card showing they are on the honor roll.”

Murphy, an Ironton native, was the owner of the former barbershop, TNT Cuts.
