Michael Russell

Michael L. Russell, 65, formerly of Ironton, died Tuesday, March 24, 2015, at his home in Radcliff. He was born on Nov. 27, 1949, the son of the late Edmond and Mabel Ellis Russell.

Also preceding him in death are three brothers, Edmond Jr., Richard and Bill. Survivors include his wife, Vernena Triplet Russell; one daughter, Loydenna, D.D., Russell, of Vinton County; three sons, Michael (Stephanie) Russell, of Wellston, Eddy (Jenni) Russell, of Radcliff, Jeff (Rachel) Russell, of Vinton; two sisters, Wilma Wallace, of Reynoldsburg and Karen Waller, of Wooster, Massachusetts; one brother, Gary (Pat) Russell, of Carroll; grandchildren, Chelsea, Steven, Kendra, Brayden, Clayton, Ashley, Justin and Skylor.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at O’Keefe-Baker Funeral Home. Jeremy Simpson will officiate. Interment will be in Woodland Cemetery.

 

 

Eugene Smith

Eugene Smith, 68, of Kitts Hill, died Thursday, March 26, 2015, at the St. Mary’s Medical Center Ironton Campus after a brief illness. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Tuesday in the chapel of the Brown Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Dale Knipp officiating. Burial will follow in the Hecla Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to services on Tuesday. Family and friends may share memories and condolences on the Facebook page for the Brown Funeral Chapel. His family has entrusted his care to the Brown Funeral Chapel at Ironton.

Londal Taylor, 72, of Proctorville, died Friday, March 27, 2015, at The Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, West Virginia. He is survived by his wife, Sheri Taylor. Funeral service will be conducted 1 p.m. Monday at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park, Ashland.
