County residents asked to ‘save the day’

Published 12:58 pm Wednesday, May 20, 2015

Lawrence County Relay For Life took place on Saturday, May 16, at South Point High School.

However, due to heavy storms Lawrence County was not able to help as many cancer survivors as we had hoped. We are asking Lawrence County to help “save the day” by donating to Lawrence County Relay For Life.

We are asking local businesses to take up donations, hold a fundraiser, do a percentage promotion to support the American Cancer Society in your community or submit a sponsorship for your business to help “save the day” in Lawrence County.

We will place the name of our “save the day” donors in a future article to thank our Lawrence County Heroes.

To participate in this opportunity to “save the day” please send your donation to the American Cancer Society, 5555 Frantz Road, Dublin, OH 43017 with a note to credit to Lawrence County Relay For Life, or contact LaChona Ferguson, community manager at 740-708-5186 or LaChona.Ferguson@cancer.org.
