WILLOW WOOD — The Symmes Valley High School class of 2015 was in good spirits Sunday afternoon, as they got ready to take the next step in their lives following graduation.

“I really love this school,” Elly Faulks said. “I think our school is really big in community service and giving back to the community.”

Faulks is an honors student who served as the student body vice president and said that she loves school and is excited to study education at Alice Lloyd College next school year.

“I enjoy the teachers here. They’re really nice,” Ashley Cornell said.

Cornell will also study education in the fall at Marshall University.

The school’s food and the senior class trip to Florida in April were very popular amongst the class as well.

Stephen James said that the food at the school was awesome while Amber Bryant said that the class trip was her favorite memory from Symmes Valley.

Principal Greg Bowman had some high praise for the class.

“This is my second year with this class and they’ve really been a pleasure to have,” he said. “This is a good group of students, caring, giving, bright students. It encourages me for the future seeing them go out into the world.”
