David Bruce

David Bruce, 71, of Ironton, passed away Friday, June 26, 2015, at Jo-Lin Health Center, Ironton. He was born Sept. 20, 1943, a son of the late Harold and Goldie Steed Bruce. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Don Bruce. He graduated from Dawson-Bryant High School, served in the Army National Guard, was a retired employee for AK Steel and a member of Jeffersonville Missionary Baptist Church of Coal Grove. David is survived by his wife of 29 years, Beverly Jenkins Bruce; two sons, Paul Bruce and Dean Bruce; two grandchildren, Annika Bruce and Alec Bruce; a sister, Sharon (Terry) Thomas of Chicago; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, with brother Ed Gullett officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens, South Point. Martha Anderson

Martha Susie Anderson, 90, of Lesage, West Virginia, died Friday, June 26, 2015, at Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, West Virginia. A service will be a 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville. A private family burial will be in Greenbottom Cemetery, Lesage, West Virginia. Mary Lee Waugh Grizzle, 79, of Raceland, Kentucky, died Saturday, June 27, 2015, at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland. She is survived by her husband, Larry Grizzle.
