Carrier to perform at farmers market concert

The Ironton Outdoor Tuesday Night Concert this week will be Carrier.

Carrier performs classic rock of the 1970s and 1980s. The group targets its music toward 70s classics, southern rock, and the songs from the popular video game ‘Guitar Hero’ with a focus on strong vocals.

The two-hour free concert starts at 6:30 p.m. and is at the Farmers Market Square in downtown Ironton. If bad weather is predicted, the concert will be moved to the historic RO-NA theater a block away.

Ironton Farmers Market vendors will be on hand with produce, home baked goods, honey and more. The concerts are presented by Studimo Productions and Ironton aLive and are sponsored by Bob Clyse Chevrolet GMC, Holiday Inn Express & Suites, Mullins Construction Company, The City of Ironton, Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital, I Heart Radio and Philips Funeral Home.
