In about 60 days, the Bob Clyse Chevrolet-Buick-GMC dealership, which has been in business for more than 40 years, will most likely be under the ownership of the Glockner family.

“We signed a buy-sell agreement and we’re awaiting GM’s approval, which we’re confident we’ll get,” Clyse said. “We’ve been discussing this for about three months and we’ll have a closing once it gets approved.”

The buy-sell agreement was signed on July 25.

Glockner employs more than 331 people and currently has dealership locations in South Point, Portsmouth, Wheelersburg, Waverly, Jackson and Chillicothe.

Tim Glocker, owner of the Glockner dealerships, was unavailable to comment by press time.
