PINE GROVE — The more the merrier.

There were a total of seven different event winners including three double winners at last Tuesday’s Ironton Country Club’s Ladies Nine-Hole Golf Association.

Hostess Rose Auble served homemade refreshments during the morning business meeting and set up the day’s events.

After golfing, the women returned to the clubhouse for lunch and Auble announced the day’s events winners. Here is a list of the day’s events.

Hostess: Rose Auble.

Two-event winners: Betty Fraley, Pat Riggs, Rose Auble.

Single-event winners: Dora Carmon, Connie Chamberlin, Wanda Spears, Joyce Lewis.

July 21 event winner: Georgia Willis.

Couples Night: A members’ Couples Night will be held at 5 p.m. on Friday evenings. Members’ couples can bring a guest couple. Also, members are asked to bring an appetizer. Hostess will be Pat Lambert.

Regular Tuesday business meetings are at 9 a.m. followed by golfing at 9:30. New members are always welcome.
