Poage Landing Days returns to Ashland

ASHLAND, Ky. –– Ashland’s Poage Landing Days tradition will continue Sept. 18-20 and will feature a variety of entertainment and things to do.

“This is an exciting year for Poage Landing Days,” Philip Stewart, president of Poage Landing Days, said. “The committee is working hard to bring new activities and has done an outstanding job.”

The free event will take place on Winchester Avenue in downtown Ashland and will feature inflatables, food, live music entertainment, an antique car show, the Southern Fried Cone Fest skateboard race, the Ed Harley Fiddle Fest, a motorcycle show, the Poage Landing Days beauty pageant, an arts and crafts tent and more.

Headlining on the main stage is Jo Dee Messina on Saturday night at 9:15 p.m.

“I’m excited that we were able to get Jo Dee Messina to headline our Saturday night entertainment lineup,” Stewart said. “I have seen her in concert and she put on a fantastic, high energy show.”
