Events offered each month

ROME TOWNSHIP — Celebrate football season on Saturday at the Wyngate at RiversEdge during a community tailgate party from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

“We’ll be highlighting the four universities that are closest to us,” Julie Poff, activities manager at Wyngate, said. “Ohio State, Ohio University, West Virginia University and Marshall.”

Live music will be played by a bluegrass trio and traditional tailgate food and games will be available.

“We’ll have chicken wings, chili, beer, cornhole and more,” Poff said. “We’re really looking forward to it. It’ll be a good time.”

Poff also said all of the Wyngate employees will participate in a contest of different activities called “Battle of the hall.”

The Wyngate at RiversEdge hosts community events every month.
