NEW YORK — Brent Morgan hasn’t missed a beat.

After three state tournament appearances and two Southeast Coaches’ Division III District Player of the Year honors, the former Coal Grove Hornets golfer is still racking up honors.

The St. Bonaventure Bonnies’ golfer added an Atlantic 10 Freshman of the Week award to the trophy case for his play during the week of Sept. 16-22.

Morgan was second on the team with a 73 on Sunday and 74 on Monday as the Bonnies finished fourth in the Leo Keenan Invitational.

He finishes tied for 12th overall with a 147 in the 60-player field

Morgan’s round of 73 was a personal record low round in his brief college career. He carded six birdies over the two-day event, the most by any of the St. Bonaventure golfers.
