Domestic violence, cruelty to animals — 1400 block County Road 115, Chesapeake, Dec. 16, woman alleged brother hit her dog with a shoe and sword before threatening to punch her in the face; Bryan Hensley, 20, of the same address, arrested.

Domestic violence — Taco Bell parking lot, South Point, Dec. 18, man alleged wife hit his vehicle with a hammer, pushed him and tried to hit him with the hammer; Rickie Carmon, 31, of South Point, arrested.

Aggravated menacing, criminal trespass — 600 block Township Road 1156, Chesapeake, Dec. 20, woman alleged another woman came into her home and threatened her with a firearm; Savannah Whissen, 27, 2100 Belmont St., Ashland, arrested.

Endangering children — County Road 120, South Point, Dec. 20, woman allegedly went over a curb and almost down embankment; deputy who witnessed the incident reported the woman admitted to being under the influence of Suboxone, for which she has a prescription, and driving with her two children; Cassie Day, 31, of 1381 28th St., Huntington, arrested.

Endangering children, possession of drug abuse instruments, drug paraphernalia — Private drive off County Road 1, South Point, Dec. 22, woman reported her 21-year-old daughter overdosed in her room; suspect allegedly passed out with her 3-month-old daughter and 1-year-old daughter in the room; suspect allegedly admitted to shooting up heroin; taken to hospital.

Robbery — South Point, Dec. 22, woman allegedly she called a friend for help after she hydroplaned; suspect allegedly drove her to a gas station and then choked her and stole her money.

Theft — 3800 block County Road 31, Chesapeake, Dec. 21, man reported Jeep Grand Cherokee stolen by son.
