Dr. David Lucas was my professor at Ohio University. He will be a great asset to Lawrence County as commissioner. Please join me in voting for Dave. Learning folknography, a qualitative research method created and championed by Dr. Lucas, through a research project on Port Gap Road, was a highlight of my learning experience.

Dr. Lucas is a hands-on field researcher-type of person. He made learning fun, while placing great emphasis on its importance. Dr. Lucas knows how to research any and all areas of the county in order to make it a better place.

He loves the culture, people and the land. He travels all over the world and in the United States in order to speak and teach others about ways to improve and enrich the people and area in which they live. There is no other person more qualified for Lawrence County Commissioner than Dave Lucas.

I want you to share in the experience of learning from him as I have. It is time to improve this county and it is time for a change in office. Won’t you please give Dave Lucas a chance at commissioner?
