Sexual assault — A private road in Pedro, Feb. 18, juvenile alleged being sexually assaulted by another juvenile; taken to hospital for examination.

Identity theft — Lowe’s, South Point, Feb. 16, fraudulent purchases made on Lowe’s credit card.

Breaking and entering, safe cracking — Dairy Queen, Proctorville, Feb. 15, unknown suspect broke into drive-thru window and took safe containing money; laptop also taken; surveillance tape viewed.

Theft — Lowe’s parking lot, South Point, Feb. 12, tools taken from metal truck bed box while parked.

Domestic violence — 70 block Township Road 1335, South Point, Feb. 8, woman allegedly hit brother in the face.

Theft — 700 block Washington St., Ironton, Feb. 11, elderly woman reported jewelry and assorted hygiene products missing from home; suspect named.

Possession of marijuana, theft — Parking lot of Lawrence County Municipal Court, Feb. 19, man reported cigarettes and WIC card stolen from car parked in lot; found at the scene was a court document issued to a woman; deputy found the woman at her home where she allegedly admitted to taking the cigarettes but not the WIC card; deputy also observed marijuana in her home; Bridget Ellis, 34, of 2606 County Road 144, South Point, arrested.

Criminal damaging — 100 block Township Road 1280, Proctorville, Feb. 21, man reported tires on vehicles slashed.

Breaking and entering — A private road in South Point, Feb. 20, riding lawn mower, ladders, solar panel and charges, copper gas line, surveillance equipment and other items taken from trailer being used for storage.

Breaking and entering — 30 block Township Road 519, Proctorville, Feb. 21, drill and electric heater taken from garage.

Breaking and entering — Chesapeake Community Center, Feb. 21, doors forced open, alarm activated; nothing reported missing.

Breaking and entering — 1600 block County Road 1, South Point, Feb. 22, torches taken from garage.

Domestic violence — 2000 block County Road 35, Chesapeake, Feb. 17, woman alleged man threatened to shoot her during an argument; gun taken into evidence; Daniel Smith, 40, of the same address, arrested.

Receiving stolen property, having weapons under a disability — 3500 block County Road 19, Kitts Hill, Feb. 21, deputies responded to shoots fired in neighborhood; man allegedly shooting gun was convicted felon and gun was in possession of a gun reported stolen in 2004; Brandon Delong, 25, of 3543 County Road 19, Kitts Hill, arrested.

Domestic violence — 1000 block Mead St., Proctorville, Feb. 17, woman alleged boyfriend poured beer on her and choked her; Clint Hayes, 44, of 1098 Mead St., Proctorville, arrested.

Breaking and entering, criminal damaging — A private drive in Chesapeake, Feb. 18, vacant apartments broken into; water heaters, kitchen counters, sinks and bathroom fixtures taken.

Burglary — A private drive off County Road 107, Proctorville, Feb. 19, apartment broken into and Xbox One taken.
