Others plead guilty to trafficking, theft charges

Bryan D. Patrick, 28, of Coal Grove was sentenced in Judge Andrew Ballard’s courtroom on Wednesday morning to 12 months in prison, with credit for time served. Patrick pleaded guilty on April 12 to trafficking in methamphetamine and returned on Wednesday for sentencing.

Three other individuals were sentenced to intensive supervised probation, community service and treatment programs.

Michael A. Baldridge, 48, of Ashland, pleaded guilty to trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of heroin, and possession of criminal tools (a digital scale), and was sentenced to four years CCS with ISP, 200 hours of community service, and to complete a treatment program at Riverside, with 17 months reserved.

Ryan M. Pyles, 26, of South Point, pleaded guilty to a charge of domestic violence and was sentenced to four years CCS with ISP, 200 hours of community service, and to complete a program at STAR Community Justice Center, with 17 months reserved.

Christian A. Laramore, 30, of Kitts Hill, had their treatment-in-lieu revoked for a conviction on the possession of heroin, and was sentenced to four years CCS with ISP, 200 hours of community service, and to complete a program at STAR, with 11 months reserved.

Teddy Moore, 54, of South Point, pleaded guilty to four counts of trafficking in methamphetamine. Moore had bond set at $10,000 own recognizances, and ordered to wear a GPS monitor. Sentencing is set for May 10.

Justin Shepherd, 34, of Rush, Kentucky, admitted to his CCS violation, and was sentenced to six months in prison.

Leigh A. Frye, 38, of Wayne, West Virginia, pleaded not guilty to charges of theft, and had her bond set at $2,500 cash or surety and $25,000 own recognizances.

In Judge Charles Cooper’s courtroom, Jack R. Cremeans, 32, of Ironton, denied his CCS violation and had his trial set for May 10.

Destiny C. Rickey, 21, of South Point, was sentenced to four years of CCS with ISP, and to complete a program at STAR, with three years reserved, for her involvement in trafficking Oxycodone.

Rickey’s codefendant, Virginia White, 42, of South Point, had her bond set at $50,000 cash or surety and $25,000 own recognizances. White is charged with a number of counts, including trafficking and tampering with evidence.

Jeffrey Holley, age and last known address unknown, had his bond set at $20,000 cash or surety, and had his pretrial set for May 10 on charges of possession of methamphetamine.

Martin B. Douglas, 40, of South Point, denied his CCS violation and had a trial date set for May 10.

Finally Jeremy Webb, 18, of Chesapeake, was arraigned on charges of burglary and felonious assault, and had his bond set at $100,000 own recognizances. Webb’s pretrial was set for May 17. Webb’s codefendants in his case, Elijah Chapman and Nicholas Lucas, have both appeared before Judge Cooper and had their pretrials continued.
