CINCINNATI — The annual Redsfest is scheduled for Friday and Saturday, Dec. 1-2, at the Duke Energy Convention Center.
Friday’s session is from 3-10:30 p.m. and Saturday’s is from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Fans will be treated to seeing former and current Reds’ players and much more.
There is a lot to see and experience at Redsfest and fans are encouraged to include the Redsfest Connect Zone on your to-do list.
Check out the social side of Redsfest on the west end of the main floor near the indoor baseball fields. There will be the TV wall that includes six screens, all featuring something different from social media to live sports. Document your Redsfest trip on Instagram and you may just see your post on one of the screens. Don’t forget to give your phone some juice at our free charging stations while you’re there.
If you time it right, you can be at the Connect Zone when Reds players drop by throughout the weekend. Players from past and present will make appearances in the Connect Zone, participating in Q&A’s, games and other fun with fans. Prizes will be given out all weekend long, so don’t miss your chance to claim some free Reds gear!
Lastly, you can check out the future of data visualization through the power of virtual reality (VR) thanks to MLB’s At Bat VR app on the Google Daydream VR headset. The Connect Zone will have a demonstration up and running, giving fans the chance to experience the first live-game sports experience in VR. You’ll be telling all your friends about this new and fully immersive way to take in a ballgam
