What is this?
Issues should be what drive Ohio voters
Published Friday, October 10, 2008
Sadly, as America approaches this presidential election in the midst of our most serious challenges since the last world war, this week we hear about William Ayers and Charles Keating and all the reasons why the opposite candidates are unqualified to serve the nation.
But frankly, I no longer care if John McCain breached his own ethics two decades ago. Nor do I care if Barack Obama served on a charitable board with a University of Chicago professor who was a mad bomber in the 1960s. Nor should you care.
What we all should care about, is what ideas we trust to lead America through the many challenges that confront the nation.
John McCain speaks as though the concept of American Imperialism is one he still embraces as the last remaining superpower. McCain is ready to assert American power in Iran, and perhaps even in Georgia, based upon his rhetoric. I am not ready for the continuance of an American military dominance of the world. Nor do I believe the continuance of “no talk” diplomacy makes any sense. You must decide whether you wish to support Sen. McCain in his posture towards the world.
McCain also seems not to be committed to the social safety net. He tells us we must freeze our budget except for defense. But in that budget are programs that fund food for the hungry and heat for those without, and, in these very hard times that cannot be humane or compassionate.
McCain tells us we must revise Social Security and Medicare, reducing their benefits. But I cannot agree with valuing an annual military budget equal to that of the rest of the planet while we hurt our seniors.
That value, of a huge military budget over our seniors is not a choice I can support. You must decide this as well.
We can no longer avoid the recognition that the richest Americans have gained most of the benefits from the Bush economy, from Hedge Fund managers making $400 million annually and paying 15 percent tax when I pay 28 percent, to schemes to hide over $70 billion a year in evaded taxes by the richest Americans while I am expected to pay my taxes under penalty of arrest.
If there was a class war I can report to you that the middle class lost. But Sen. McCain instead thinks the Bush tax policies were so good he wants to extend them. To do so will give the nation a deficit of $3 trillion over the next decade, while taxing those who live off of dividends at half the rate people who work for a living pay.
Sen. McCain sees the medical crisis in America and tells us market forces will work it out. But market forces have bought us the most expensive and unequally distributed health care program on the planet, along with insurance companies that refuse to cover sick people and cancel those who are too expensive. And while our deductibles rise, our co-pays jump, the costs of drugs far outpaces inflation, and more and more employers demand higher contributions for less and less coverage, Senator McCain tells us these same people can fix the problem. I do not believe that.
Sen. McCain promises us he will appoint more judges like Scalia and Thomas, but is that what the country needs? This is not about Roe, it is about Supreme Court judges who consistently rule in favor of Big Business and Big Government and against our individual rights. We cannot afford more of these judges.
Vote on the issues this November.

Rabble rabble rabble Bush Bush Bush.
I believe hanging out with a known domestic terrorist says a lot about Obama's character.

Former Lehman Brothers CEO Dick Fuld was under oath Monday when he was grilled on Capitol Hill about his role in the current financial meltdown. But if Members really want to understand the credit mania, they should also call Chris Dodd....
Former Countrywide Financial loan officer Robert Feinberg says Mr. Dodd knowingly saved thousands of dollars on his refinancing of two properties in 2003 as part of a special program the California mortgage company had for the influential. He also says he has internal company documents that prove Mr. Dodd knew he was getting preferential treatment as a friend of Angelo Mozilo, Countrywide's then-CEO...
.'" All of this matters because Mr. Dodd was one of those encouraging Fan and Fred to plunge into "affordable housing" loans made by companies like Countrywide...
Mr. Feinberg says he went public with his story because when he heard Senator Dodd on TV talking about predatory lending, he felt it was "hypocritical" and he says, "I just thought, 'This is wrong.'" http://online.wsj.com/article/SB12236011...

Mr Crawford, lets see what the democrat who was in charge of the Keating 5 investigation said about his investigation into John McCain:
ROBERT BENNETT:You know, I’m in a pretty unique position to talk about John McCain. First, I should tell your listeners I’m a registered Democrat, so I’m not on his side of a lot of issues. But I investigated John McCain for a year and a half, at least, when I was special counsel to the Senate Ethics Committee in the Keating Five... And if there is one thing I am absolutely confident of, it is John McCain is an honest and honest man. I recommended to the Senate Ethics Committee that he be cut out of the case, that there was no evidence against him...
See, the BIG difference is, McCain knew Keating before he started having problems. Obama on the other hand knowingly joined a socialist party, made friends with a domestic terrorist, continued going to a racist church even after hearing a racist speech the first time he attended (even Oprah left the church because of what she heard), and did a shady land deal with someone he knew was under investigation.

And you want to talk about class warfare Mr. Crawford, how about some real numbers?
40% of Americans pay zero federal income taxes
The top 1% (the really rich) pay 39% of all federal income tax
The top 5% pay 60% of all federal income tax
The top 10% pay 70% of all federal income tax
The top 25% pay 86% of all federal income tax
Now, that's real class warfare... but I guess that isn't good enough for you. You think the rich should pay for everything.
Remember the Revolutionary war quote "No taxation without representation"? Why doesn't the opposite apply? No representation without taxation? Should the poor be allowed to vote if they don't contribute to the federal government? Shouldn't the rich get more votes since it's their successful knowledge and work ethic that mostly allowed them to become rich and the poor to feed at the federal trough?

The real question should be... are you better off than you were two years ago when democrats took control of Congress.
Welcome back Neo, missed you for 24 hours... and it's not to late to get into the IPO suspended thread. Was weird seeing 150 posts and notably absent was Neo.
Posted by Noesis (anonymous) on October 10, 2008 at 12:11 p.m. (Suggest removal)
And Neo, the "change" to a socialist type government wouldn't be good.
Posted by Noesis (anonymous) on October 10, 2008 at 12:49 p.m. (Suggest removal)
Actually Neo, I didn't know that you were at the event. I forgot that it was yesterday. It wasn't that big of a deal to me.
And as far as gasoline prices go, it's called the law of supply and demand. The less people drive, the more that the inventory goes up. They then lower prices to sell more... It's actually a very easy concept.
And if it's just "greed", they aren't doing a very good job at it:
Nation City Price in USD Regular/Gallon
Netherlands Amsterdam $6.48
Norway Oslo $6.27
Italy Milan $5.96
Denmark Copenhagen $5.93
Belgium Brussels $5.91
Sweden Stockholm $5.80
United Kingdom London $5.79
Germany Frankfurt $5.57
France Paris $5.54
Portugal Lisbon $5.35
Hungary Budapest $4.94
Luxembourg $4.82
Croatia Zagreb $4.81
Ireland Dublin $4.78
Switzerland Geneva $4.74
Spain Madrid $4.55
Japan Tokyo $4.24
Notice how many "socialist" countries also have high gas prices??? So you think by putting a democrat in charge, that will lower gas prices?
Lets see what democrats promised in 2006:
Pelosi: With skyrocketing gas prices, it is clear that the American people can no longer afford the Republican Rubber Stamp Congress and its failure to stand up to Republican big oil and gas company cronies. Americans this week are paying $2.91 a gallon on average for regular gasoline...
“Democrats have a commonsense plan to help bring down skyrocketing gas prices by cracking down on price gouging, rolling back the billions of dollars in taxpayer subsidies, tax breaks and royalty relief given to big oil and gas companies, and increasing production of alternative fuels.”
HECK OF A JOB NANCY!!!!
Posted by Noesis (anonymous) on October 10, 2008 at 12:54 p.m. (Suggest removal)
Actually what Nancy should have said is this:
We have a plan to bring down gas prices. We democrats have been pushing banks to make ARMs and predatory loans to the poor so they can get into houses. We know that they will default on their payments causing the banking system to collapse putting us in a depression.
That is our plan to lower gas prices.

It's funny how Neo tries to Blame Bush for this mess. You want to see how the housing market and banks collapsed?:
Here is how this mess started:
The CRA (community Reinvestment Act) was passed by the 95th United States Congress and signed into law by President Jimmy Carter in 1977 as a result of national grassroots pressure for affordable housing, and despite considerable opposition from the mainstream banking community.
The CRA MANDATES that each banking institution be evaluated to determine if it has met the credit needs of its entire community. That record is taken into account when the federal government considers an institution's application for deposit facilities, including mergers and acquisitions.
In early 1993 President Bill Clinton ordered new regulations for the CRA which would increase access to mortgage credit for inner city and distressed rural communities. The new rules went into effect on January 31, 1995 and featured: requiring strictly numerical assessments to get a satisfactory CRA rating
The new rules, during a time when many banks were merging and needed to pass the CRA review process to do so, substantially increased the number and aggregate amount of loans to low- and moderate-income borrowers for home loans, some of which were "risky mortgages". Welfare payments and foodstamps could be used as "proof of income"
To get even more poor people into housing and Keep their CRA score high, banks were forced to use ARM's. That was fine as long as interest rates were low. When interest rates went up and "ballon" payments increased, the poor couldn't afford the payments and the defaults started causing the banks to fail.
All of this because of democrats "housing for the poor"

What psycho bable are you talking about Neo?
Noesis believes that people should not have the right to vote if you get a tax refund and it nets out that you get back all that you put in throughout the year?
Do you really think that people are going to buy that Neo? What turnip truck do you think reasonable people fell off of?
Posted by Noesis (anonymous) on October 10, 2008 at 1:28 p.m. (Suggest removal)
Neo, I'm NOT saying that the poor shouldn't be able to vote. What I'm pointing out is the masses are always going to put themselves ahead of the country. I think ALL people should take responsibility in "maintaining" the country by paying taxes. Not just the rich.
The poor are always going to vote for more tax rebates just like convicted felons would always vote for more leniency laws, the rich for more tax breaks.

No more Bush Business, please?
401s will be out 11/3/08 so people, you, can CHANGE your way of thinking and voting after reviewing the fine job this administration has done to you and your future.
Give another man an opportunity. Forget about political loyalties and think seriously on this economy. Senator Obama is that man. He is the change we need. He already has the finest financial team consulting with him, which includes Warren Buffet. This Senator will not place unknowledgeable cronies to positions they can not grasp. He has shown by the campaign he knows how to hire the right people. I believe he will continue this methodology successfully in the Oval Office.
Republicans are so desperate they are using desperate measures- they are not acting like WWJD. Jesus forgave and called a wide range of people into HIS service. I am not saying Senator Obama needs cleansing but I would say the blasting Senator Mc Cain's camp is launching is not appropirate and he will never unify this country if he is President. In my humble thoughts he will send us to wars and there will be rumors of more wars. He wants to be Commander-in- Chief for real.
Our soldiers are not green men who fall today and are whole or alive again tomorrow. You say he knows that? Maybe he thinks he can conquer the world with a big stick and no personality or kindness. You look into his words and countenance and see three words: W-A-R.
The BUSH TEAM IS RUNNING MC CAIN'S CAMPAIGN SO MC CAIN CAN RUN THE WHITE HOUSE JUST LIKE BUSH. HE COULD LEAVE EVERYONE IN PLACE EXCEPT THE TOP TWO AND JUST ADD LIBERMAN TO DO SOMETHING -SOMEWHERE. IS THIS WHAT YOU REALLY WANT FOR FOUR MORE YEARS? SAY IT'S NOT SO.

Should the poor be allowed to vote if they don't contribute to the federal government?
Noesis, thats what you posted @12:04. There's no other way to interpret that except you think that all of those at the bottom of the pole should shut up (not vote), accept less so those at the top can TAKE more.
Over the next months we're going to see a major change in how we fund this country. The middle-class and the (lower, nope, better not use that word...sub-middle-class? ahhh...)poor (yes, admit it, the richest country in the world has a lot of POOR people) won't stand for much more. Hang on, its gonna be a ride like you've never had before!

Mr. Crawford,
Did you ever teach the concept of personal responsibility when you were an educator at Ohio University Southern? From the tone of your submission I would assume that you really have no concept of accepting responsibility for your life’s outcome considering the way you are whining about the rich and how you complain about having gotten a bum deal. Let me examine the various points of your article.
Supreme Court –
So you think that John McCain will nominate Judges that favor Big Business, Big Government and circumvent your individual rights and freedoms.
What individual rights and freedoms are you talking about Mr. Crawford? You didn’t mention them … but let me guess at some …
Are you talking about the right to universal health care? When I was in school and was taught the constitution, I never saw “universal health care” mentioned in the “United States Bill of Rights”.
I see these though:
Freedom of Speech
Freedom of Religion
The right to keep and bear arms
The Freedom of Assembly
The Freedom to Petition
Also mentioned are rights against unreasonable search and seizure and cruel and unusual punishment and the right against compelled self-incrimination.
Mr. Crawford what you want to happen is for Obama to get elected and appoint revisionist Judges to the Supreme Court that will attempt to rewrite law instead of doing what is outlined in the constitution.
Medical Crisis –
Again this goes to the heart of personal responsibility. First of all I find no where in any of our laws and constitution where Health Care is a guaranteed right. But you want to make it one. One only needs to look at other countries that have embraced socialized medicine to see the failures of that kind of system. Frankly I don’t want the Government telling me or dictating to me what Doctor I must see and what Health Coverage I have.
Deficits –
Speaking of which … Obama’s plans will increase the national debt by Trillions at the cost of jobs. If Obama’s plans are put into place the only good job will be a government job. Sorry I prefer to work for private enterprise.
Class War –
Ok let’s go ahead and raise the marginal tax rate to 68% for all the wealthy of the world. Even the uninformed would agree that Trillions of dollars would suddenly disappear from the American economy in favor of Country’s that are less hostile to doing business with. But that is ok Mr. Crawford. You always have your social net to fall back on.

david, YOU don't get it. This is soooo far beyond McBush and Obama. Its the WORLD. It's not Fannie, Freddie or any other gov't/quasi-gov't. entity. It's the WHOLE WORLD this time. This problem has to be addressed by a world body. And guess what! We may not come out better on the other side...but, we WILL come out.
Diplomacy is our only hope. What if...just what if.... Iran or N. Korea became overly provocative right now. We can't attack them. We can't AFFORD to attack them. Obama will be a good "peace" president. We need Obama. Vote OBAMA!

Actually MasterChef with all due respect ... I am not willing to have a one world government ... maybe you are ... but I am not ready to give up my personal freedoms so that we can socialize the entire world. Maybe you do ... I am not and I am not alone.
You really want to just ditch the foundation of what this great Nation was founded on?

"Deficits –

I would surely hate to see Obama increase the national debt. After all, Bush hasn't done that in the past 8 years, has he? I suppose the loss of 750,000 in 2008 alone doesn't count either.
Our country is in dire straights in so many ways. We've lost respect world wide. We need someone who can keep a straight head and make much needed changes. The small stuff, like the blame game and name calling, no longer matters so much. Its gone way beyond that.
"You really want to just ditch the foundation of what this great Nation was founded on?"
I thought our nation was built on the premise of "of the people, by the people, for the people". It seems to me you want to leave out the "for the people" part.

TOP OBAMA CAMPAIGN FINANCIER WORKING WITH STATE SPONSORS OF TERRORISM TO UNDERMINE U.S.
by Kristinn Taylor, Friday, October 10, 2008
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news...
A founding member of the campaign finance team of Democratic presidential nominee Illinois Sen. Barack Obama has been working with state sponsors of terrorism to undermine the United States in the global war on terror since at least February, 2003.
Jodie Evans, co-founder of the leftist anti-American group Code Pink, has documented ties to governments on the State Department’s list of current and former state sponsors of terrorism including Iran, Cuba, Syria and the former Iraqi government under Saddam Hussein. She also has endorsed and worked with the so-called Iraqi resistance that has killed over three thousand American soldiers and thousands of free Iraqis.
Evans is listed on the official Obama website as a bundler of between $50,000 and $100,000 in contributions. According to FEC reports, the official Obama website and news accounts, Evans has personally contributed over $40,000 to the Obama campaign—$4600 to Obama for America and around $36,000 to the Obama Victory Fund.

Benning, your party chose McBush to lead their party. I know it must hurt to see your guy exhibit the disturbing, erratic behavior that he has during the campaign.
But I don't think its honorable to use the fear tactics you're introducing here. But, maybe thats all you have left.
First, the Dumya tax cuts won't even expire until 2010, so you've got 2 years to search for a little tropical island where you can live without any taxes at all.
Second, the tax levels are just returning to where they were pre-Dumya. By the way, how did the rich use all that extra money? Dumya said they'd start/expand their businesses creating more jobs. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics when Dumya took office unemployment was on 4%. As of 9/1 the unemployment rate is 6.1%. Nice job, Dumya.
The behavior of the rich only goes to show that greed breeds additional greed. But now the financial markets have reached a boiling point. Its not that the middle-class doesn't want to keep the rich wealthy. They simply don't have it anymore. The wealthiest 5% of people have sucked all the money the middle-class has. The middle-class are even being evicted from their homes. Its over! We want some of it back!

Here is something more for you Obama geniuses to consider when you go around bloviating about Obama’s so called Tax Cuts for the middle class.
Ever consider the affect Obama's Tax plan will have on Marginal Tax Rates? Do you EVEN know what the definition of the Marginal Tax Rate is?
Let me xplain it to ya - by golly - youbetcha
Marginal Tax rate is the taxes paid on the last dollar you have earned. Well of course if you don't have a job and live off of the state you don't have to worry about Marginal Tax Rates.
But for those of us that do work for a living here is the deal.
Have you ever noticed when you got a bonus at work ... or perhaps you work some over time which should increase your net pay check? But to your surprise it seems that extra money you earned was taxed at a higher rate?
That is the Marginal Tax Rate kicking in ...
Under Obama's tax plan the Marginal Tax Rate will KILL the middle class wage earner.
Don't believe me? Read this from the Tax Foundation!
http://www.taxfoundation.org/publication...
Also here is a pretty picture that describes all the cool details of Marginal Tax Rates and Senator Obama's tax plan.
http://www.taxfoundation.org/UserFiles/I...
This graph compares CURRENT law and Obama's Plan.
A family of 4 with 2 children earning just $30,000 a year would see their marginal tax rate jump from 32% to 45%!!!!
Now how is that going to encourage a middle class family to work harder and earn more money?
Straight Talk ... OBAMA IS A LIER!

When you see the Obama camp, including posts that may come after this one, trying to change the topic from the fact that we're in the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression right now...remember that it is because their candidate represents HIGHER taxes that will kill the middle class. When they try to pass the buck and place the blame on someone or something else besides the failed economic and banking policies of Bill Clinton, Jimmy Carter, Nancy Pelosi, Senator Dodd, Barney Frank and Maxine Walters and endorsed by BARACK OBAMA just recognize it's because they hide from the truth...they are desperate and they have no other options.

Why watch a video produced by the candidate ... why not investigate for yourself? Why not think for yourself? Why take Obama's word just because he is speaking?
If Obama is lying then watching the video gets you nothing ...
Really smart of the Obamamessiah to talk about ethics when he supports the watering down of American votes by supporting organizations like ACORN. *LOL*
Again ... go to OTHER sources and look at the issues with an objective mind ...

Obama wants to help the poor and middle class eh?
NOT EXACTLY A PARAGON OF GENEROSITY At least not with his own money -- as revealed by Barack Obama's stingy charitable giving record revealed in his publicly disclosed tax returns. But hey, the liberal agenda is never about personal, voluntary generosity. It's about them forcing you to be generous with your money for their causes. Here are the year-by-year portions of AGI that went to charity -- and this includes his contributions to the hate-mongering "reverend" Wright.
2006: 6.1%
2005: 4.7%
2004: 1.2%
2003: 1.4%
2002: 0.4%
2001: 0.5%
2000: 0.9%

But those bad rich Republicans never give away any of their money either ...
John McCain Discloses Data on His Charity Giving
In 2007, the Arizona senator reported $405,409 in total income and contributed $105,467, or 26 percent of his total income, to charity.
In 2006, Mr. McCain said he had $358,414 in total income and donated $64,695, or 18 percent of his total income, to charity.

Neo don't worry about the Obama nation thing. If you’re not kidding just remember you heard it hear first. By the way I noticed you and Master Chief like the ring of President Obama! How do you like the ring of former Senator Barack Hussein Obama? Now that is a ring with real appeal. November 5th Obama will be scratching for cab fair and looking for a job. Hey I bet you and your buddies would like to give him a job. You never know if your luck holds it could happen for you. Obama nation flags get them while they last. Order now order often, be the first in your hood to dump an old glory in the dirt and fly a new Obama nation flag, the real flag of change. Let’s get serious for a moment. Let’s assume you have the information I have and you are all ready aware of the kind of friends Obama consorts with. Can you honestly say what if any thing you would have to learn to cause you to swap hats? Would you still vote for Obama if you believed every thing the McBush peopled have been saying? Would you or any of your friends change your vote to save this country? I would and in a blink. Can you and your friends honestly say that? I suppose for you and your friends this election could be all about race. I will bet I am not the only one that would like to hear an honest response. Perhaps you don’t have enough anonymity to be honest with your fellow Americans? Hey if race is your thing it’s your problem. Even sorry Americans are still Americans and better than any one else. They just have problems they haven’t over come yet. Vote McBush!

you obama supporters on here crack me up,you live in your dream world that everything is the Republicans fault and you show disrespect towards Mccain/Palin. I cant stand obama because I dont think he is being truthful and everytime he gets called on any acquaintance he denies it. he will say anything to get elected and I am sick of anytime you question anything about him you are called a racist. He is the one who associates with racists and former terrorists and crooks(rezko) also this voter fraud non-sense with acorn is pitiful they dems must deep down be worried that people will see who obama really is and he will lose this election and frankly that is what i pray for daily that people wont believe the liberal media and go look up things he has said and people he is tied to and realize this is not the type of individual you want running your country. I know things are not perfect and I am a realist that it is not all one sides fault. people want to say the last 8 yrs well lets just say the last 2yrs when the dems promised change, dow down 5000 pts, gas up over 1.00 a gallon and nothing done to become energy independent. Great job guys no wonder you approval rate is in single digits. I will not call obama or biden names but I will say I dont like them or trust them and that is not name calling or racist that is just a fact. Vote for McCain/Palin, we cant afford the consequences of and obama/biden presidency.

why doesn't Jim Crawford talk about what Obama plans to do? it's all about rejecting McCain's supposed ideas, what it seems to Crawford. If we are to reject Bush's policies, and McCain's policies, what are we accepting? do the Obamaniacs have a clue as to what he wants? most of the the financial stuff is on a level that most of us don't relate to, and the social stuff, Obama hedges around.

Why is Barak Hussein Obama opposed to the Iraq war? Did someone say Nadhmi Auchi? Funny how terrorists keep showing up with links to Obama.
So what if Nadhmi Auchi was charged in the late 1950's, along with Saddam Hussein, for conspiring to assassinate Iraqi Prime minister Abdul Karim Qasim.
So what if Nadhmi Auchi was convicted in 2003 for his involvement with an international oil scandal.
So what if Tony Rezko suddenly has $3.5 million wired to his bank account from Auchi just one month before Obama closes on the shady real estate deal.

Senator McCain still has done nothing to earn my vote. http://getdrunkandvotemccain.com/
Now we're learning Barry's fantasy story book, "Dreams," was ghost written by Ayers. http://wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&am...
Since the Chicago Marxists heisted the formerly good name of the Democrat Party, they leave everyone with little choice but to vote for McCain. Thanks Coward Dean.
Even my resume is better for President than Obama's. Plus I was wise enough to avoid hanging out with terrorists.

Member of Obama's "family" Jesse Jackson speaks out ...
Jackson believes that, although "Zionists who have controlled American policy for decades" remain strong, they'll lose a great deal of their clout when Barack Obama enters the White House. - Jesse Jackson ...
In other words the Obama administration will not support Israel ...
This is why Obama is so dangerous ... He doesn't understand foreign policy and will end up causing WWIII

Judge Rules Against Ohio Elections Official in Battle Over Voter Registration
CINCINNATI -- A federal appeals court has ordered Ohio's top elections official to set up a system by Friday to verify new voters' eligibility.
The full 6th Circuit Court of Appeals in Cincinnati has upheld an earlier ruling that Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner has to use other government records to check the thousands of new voters for registration fraud. A three-judge panel of the 6th Circuit had disagreed last week, but the full court's ruling trumps the panel's decision.
Ohio Republicans sued Brunner, a Democrat.
Ohio GOP Chairman Bob Bennett calls the ruling a victory for the election's integrity.
A spokesman for Brunner could not immediately be reached for comment. Brunner previously said there was no way to set up the system with such speed.
------------
Could it be that Jennifer Bruner doesn't want to verify voters eligibility because a large number will be found bogus? Could she have an ulterior motive for not wanting to verify voter eligibility ?

Below is a petition someone started to get Congress to settle the Berg lawsuit by having Senator Obama present the records requested. The real story is why Obama is fighting the case and not just producing the documents.
Here is the link to the petition ...
http://www.rallycongress.com/constitutio...
So far Mr. Obama has refused to produce the documents and is trying to fight the court order to produce the documents.
Any American should be able to prove citizenship in less than a day. Why can’t Mr. Obama?
Here is a link to the actual court documents ...
http://news.justia.com/cases/featured/Pe...
A constitutional crisis will rip our country apart. If this is not cleared up now we will have a crisis. If you care at all about America you must call for Mr. Obama to produce the documents and prove that he is eligible to be President.

In the first place i can't imagine anyone running for president, or senate for that matter, spending the time, effort and money to run for an office he is not eligible to occupy.
Secondly, he would have never gotten through the vetting process I'm sure he would have to go through to run for president. I have more faith in my country than to think they would let just anyone be in the position of Obama and McCain. If there was a question about their citizenship, it would have been known long before now.
A third thought is Obama is an attorney. Don't you think he would have had some idea that he would have been caught up in the legality of trying to slip something like this through?
Aren't these things, like most of the trash being spewed about the candidates, just a matter of applying a bit of, (ahem), common sense?
You're so good with finding all your "facts" and giving "references", padanorr, I'm surprised you didn't find this information. Maybe you did find it and just "forgot" to add it to your post. I'm sure that's the problem.
Barack Obama was born in Hawaii on August 4, 1961. Hawaii was admitted to the union on August 24, 1959, (before that issue rears its ugly head). He was born in the United States, so the nationality of his parents didn't matter. He was automatically a citizen.
As far as the claim that he refuses to produce his birth certificate to prove his citizenship, it was posted on the net be his campaign mid 2008 to be viewed.
http://i305.photobucket.com/albums/nn227...
Now you can all have a picture!
Lawsuits claiming presidential candidates aren't citizens aren't uncommon. Barry Goldwater was born in Az. before it was a state. Dick Cheney 's Wyoming residency status was questioned because he was born in Wyoming but moved to Texas. Guess who else had their citizenship questioned. It was none other than John McCain, because he was born in the Panama Canal Zone. At least Obama was born in the US.
This information is really easy to find.

CommonSense?
Barack Obama can make this all go away ... but there is one question I have .... why is he stalling and why will he not comply with the orders of the Federal District Court in Philadelphia ?
You can quote snopes.com ... tell me Obama is an attorney ... assert that he was born in Hawaii ...
But that is at the crux of the lawsuit which Obama has yet to challenge in a successful way ...
To put it bluntly ...
Mr. Obama ... provide the documents the court has requested and this issue goes away ...
By this way .... this is no hoax ... no fake court case ... it is a real case filed in Federal District Court in Philadephia ...

I find it very interesting that you have touted the Republican party as being made up solely of the uber-rich, who are masters of lies and deception, unable to tear down Barack's policies or record, while spouting baseless rhetoric about their candidate. I find this interesting because you have coninutally based blame for the current economic crisis on Bush's failed ecomonomic policies, and have yet to name those "policies" and how they contributed to the problems.(However Padanorr has done a WONDERFUL job outlining how the Democratic party bears the majority of responsibility for where we are right now). RHETORIC! You say that McCain's supporters are unable to tear-down Obama's policies and his record so they try to trump up their own candidate, but again, Padanorr, and others, have done nothing BUT show the problems with Barack's tax policies, health care policies, etc. However, it is you who has failed to point out flaws with McCain's policies (other than saying they are just like Bush's, but again, you haven't defined Bush's-RHETORIC!). They have given real issues against Barack while you have continually tried to hide behind your first statement "So when you see the McCain camp, including posts before and after this one, trying to change the topic from the fact that we're in the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression right now...remember that it is because their candidate represents more of the same. When they try to pass the buck and place the blame on someone or something else besides the failed economic policies of Bush and McCain, just recognize it's because they are behind...they are desperate and they have no other options." every time that the water started to get hot without ever offering a reasonable case AGAINST McCain.
And I'm not even going to mention how your reaction to the term "Obamanation" was much like Dracula's reaction to the Crucifix. What's up with that?
And regarding lies and deception; you stated yourself not once, but twice, that you weren't going to post on this thread anymore. Is that a form of Democrat truth? If so, I understand, now.
But, My friend, come November 5th, let's forget anyone has disagreed with you, and proven that you are the one guilty of spouting 'talking-points' and let's just be Americans again. You Betcha!
