Sheriff’s office

Theft— Township Road 206 S, Proctorville Thursday, money taken from checking account without permission, suspect named.

Theft — Township Road 217, Scottown Saturday, jewelry taken, suspects named.

Trafficking in drugs, possession of drugs — State Route 243 at Private Drive 3467, South Point Saturday, vicodin, percocet, endocet, morphine and other drugs reportedly found in pocket of passenger, passenger’s purse during traffic stop, Crystal Neal, 27, Ashland, Ky., arrested and taken to jail.

Driving under suspension, possession of drugs — Grandview Avenue at U.S. 52, South Point Friday, strong smell of marijuana detected during traffic stop, marijuana pipe, other drug abuse instruments confiscated, Calvin Estep, 25, 2155 Township Road 250, South Point, arrested and taken to jail.

Domestic — South Point Friday, woman reportedly assaulted, Christina Goldman, 20, of Milton, W.Va., arrested and taken to jail.

County jail

—Ronald W. Hundley, 43, Eden, N.C., disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, intimidation of public servant Sunday by the Coal Grove Police Department.

— Charles R. Brown Jr., 32, Ashland, Ky., commitment Saturday by the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office.

—Terri Layman, 50, 2122 S. Third St., Ironton, DUI Friday by the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office.
