Union Baptist hosting New Year’s Eve service

KITTS HILL — Union Baptist Church, Dog Fork, Kitts Hill, will have a New Year’s Eve service at 8 p.m.

Justin Berry will speak and church singers will provide the music. This will be followed by snacks in the fellowship hall.

Jeremy Simpson will speak during the 10 p.m. service.

Linnville Baptist Church will have a New Year’s Eve service at 8 p.m. Bros. Billy Payner and Darrell Fowler will speak.

Lego competition set for Jan. 6

SUMMIT, Ky. — Children can play with Legos — and other kids playing with Legos — at the Kids Lego Competition on Wednesday, Jan. 6.

The event starts at 4 p.m. at the Summit Branch of the Boyd County Library, 1016 Summit Road. Kids ages 6 to 12 can build their own Lego creations, enjoy some Lego-themed snacks, and register for door prizes.
