Three injured in Ironton car wreck
Accident occured in the area of 10th Street and Kemp Ave.

Three people were taken to the hospital following a car accident Wednesday afternoon.
Officials were called to the area of S. 10th Street and Kemp Avenue around 1:30 p.m. when a car struck a tree and ended up on its top.
Capt. Dan Johnson of the Ironton Police Department said the cause of the accident is not yet know, though alcohol is not suspected to be a factor.
All three passengers were taken to St. Mary’s Medical Center.
Their conditions were unavailable as of press time. Two of the passengers appeared to be elderly, Johnson said.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
