New channel additions include:

> USA HD – channel 777

> Sci-Fi HD – channel 778

> CNBC HD – channel 788

> Disney HD – channel 775

> ABC Family HD – channel 774

> Fox News Channel HD – channel 786

> Speed HD – channel 780

> CNN News HD – channel 785

With the addition of fifteen new HD channels, Time Warner Cable’s Free HD Tier now includes twenty-two high definition channels.

“We are always looking for new ways to add more value to our digital cable service,” said Time Warner Cable Manager Russ Pomfrey.

“We know that our customers love watching TV in HD and we’re proud to be able to deliver as much as we can in high definition. Time Warner Cable is the only provider that does not charge for the majority of HD programming available and provides On Demand content in HD.”

These high definition channels are free to customers who already subscribe to the level of service that includes the standard definition feed of that channel and are equipped with an HD receiver and HD ready television.

Lookout! The next change will come from your pocketbook. I got it from them without any new channels, so I can only wonder how much more they will want now! Still happy with the competiton at this address.

They just think too highly of their product. I'll keep my DirecTV. It sometimes sucks in a thunderstorm, but overall much better.

LOL.. you get these for "free"!!! You just have to go buy a HD converter box or a brand new HD TV. I guess those don't come with the "free" channels. LOL
