Charlie’s Harley-Davidson recognized for receiving Dealernews Top 100 Award
Published Monday, June 29, 2009
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — On June 24, the Harley-Davidson Motor Company recognized Charlie’s Harley-Davidson in Huntington, W. Va. for being chosen as a recipient of the Dealer News Top 100 Award. Bill Brim, District Manager for Harley-Davidson, presented a special award to Charlie Cole, President of Charlie’s Harley-Davidson, to acknowledge this accomplishment.
The “Dealer News Top 100 Award” is presented each year by Dealernews magazine, the premier business-to-business publication for motorcycle, ATV and other powersports dealers.
It is the longest running, largest, and most prestigious retail competition in the powersports industry. The top 100 recipients are chosen from all over the United States and Canadian provinces and this year marked the 18th Annual Dealer Top 100 Award anniversary.
“The winners of this year’s Top 100 Competition demonstrate the commitment of Powersports dealerships to their customer base,” says Mary Slepicka, editorial director of Dealernews and director of the competition. “Judges awarded high marks not so much for what a store has, but what a store is doing with it, and how well it understands its customer base and community.”
Each dealer is chosen based on retail design and merchandising, marketing and promotion, dedication to customer service, community involvement, and internal work environment.
Also receiving this award alongside Charlie’s Harley-Davidson, in the state of West Virginia, is Cole Harley-Davidson in Bluefield.
Charlie’s Harley-Davidson has been in business for two years at 408 4th St. in Huntington, providing customers with quality customer services on motorcycle sales, service, parts and accessories, diner and apparel and riding gear.

Here's what I'm thinking......in your first post you said,"you want a real bike get a honda." Then in the next post "THE BEST ONE SOFAR WAS A CUSHMAN CASTIRON EAGLE!!!" So at this point I think your a wee bit confused. How about we just congradulate Charlie's on a job well done. Though I bought mine at Baxters. Charlie's has an excelent parts and service department. AND they do an excellent job of supporting the community by hosting alot of charity rides. Oh and if you press the "Caps Lock" button again it allows you to type in lower case.
