“She had returned home that evening to find that her house had been broken into,” the Proctorville police report stated. “Someone had moved multiple items in her home and had taken her prescribed medications as well as groceries from her kitchens.”

Prescriptions taken were 30 tablets of Januvia, 30 tables of Simvastatin, 40 tablets of Propoxyphen-APAP and three tablets of Prevacid. There was no monetary value for the medications listed on the report. There were no suspects named at the time. Patrolman Kodi Pizelli investigated the incident.

He was arrested and charged with a first-degree misdemeanor. Chapman posted bond and was scheduled for a pre-trial hearing in Lawrence County Municipal Court Monday. Proctorville Police Chief Bill Murphy investigated.
