‘Most Wanted’ probation violator caught in S.C.

Local authorities seek four others

Published Monday, October 12, 2009

One of four people who made last week’s list of Most Wanted Probation Violators has been apprehended in South Carolina; authorities said they have leads on the other three people featured last week.

Lawrence County Chief Probation Officer Carl Bowen II said David Christian, 33, of Chesapeake, was captured this week. But Bowen may have to stand in line: Christian has accumulated charges in South Carolina and Boone County, Ky., wants him too.

“We have a holder on him. When they get finished with him we’ll bring him back to our county,” Bowen said.

All four people featured this week have failed to report to their probation officers as required. They are:

Brandon T. Stewart, 23, was last known to be living in Chesapeake. He was on probation for burglary and theft of drugs convictions. He is 6 feet 1 inch tall, 180 pounds. He has blond hair and blue eyes. Stewart has a Facebook page with his girlfriend.

Lisa Hastings, 31, was last known to be living in South Point. She was on probation for drugs and child endangerment convictions. She is 5 feet 9 inches tall, 145 pounds. She has brown hair and eyes.

Jennifer Page, 32, was last known to be living in Huntington, W.Va. She was on probation for conviction on drug charges. She is 5 feet 4 inches tall, 125 pounds.

Ben Hughes, 35, was last known to be living in Pedro but Bowen said Hughes may be living in Ironton or Flatwoods, Ky. He was convicted of receiving stolen property. He is 6 feet 1 inch tall, 152 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes.

The Adult Probation Agency, a part of Lawrence County Common Pleas Court, is seeking information on the whereabouts of these victims. Those with information about these people may call the Adult Probation Agency at (740) 533-4380 or (740) 533-4423.

For those who said these are just minor offenders. The one caught was also wanted in 2 other places. He may even gotten away with more in other areas that do not have enough evidence against him.
No matter how minor you still need to do as the courts say. Those who do not listen to the court sentence of probation why would the follow the rules of society?
Keep putting the pics in the paper and it is up to people to not get theirselves in the situations that would get their face on the Most Wanted.
