Lawrence County’s Most Wanted
Two ‘Most Wanted’ probation violators caught
Published Monday, October 26, 2009
Two people who made last week’s list of Most Wanted probation violators didn’t stay wanted for long.
Carl Bowen II, chief probation officer for the Lawrence County Common Pleas Court Adult Probation Agency, said John Moore and Misty Shavor were apprehended early last week.
Bowen said he was notified that Moore, 26, of South Point, was in jail in West Virginia on charges there.
Shavor, 29, of Kitts Hill, was located at a house on State Route 243 near Ironton and taken to the Lawrence County Jail.
Meanwhile, four more names have been added to the list of people wanted by the probation agency because they failed to abide by the terms of their probation. In most cases, the offenders have failed to report to their probation officer as required. They are:
Joe Walden, 41, last known to be living in Milton, W.Va., was on probation for conviction on charges of theft, grand theft and breaking and entering. He has brown hair and blue eyes, is 6 feet 2 inches tall, 335 pounds.
Brian R. Kitts, 26, was last known to be living in South Point. He was probation for drug trafficking. He has black hair and brown eyes, is 6 feet tall, 160 pounds.
Paul D. Adkins, 32, was last known to be living in Lavalette, W.Va. He was on probation after pleading guilty to breaking and entering. He has brown hair and blue eyes. He is 6 feet, two inches tall, 225 pounds.
Jacob Hankins, 21, was last known to be living in South Point. He was on probation for drug peddling. He has brown hair and eyes, is 6 feet 1 inch tall, 265 pounds.
Those with information about these people may call the Adult Probation Agency at (740) 533-4380 or (740) 533-4423.

I know Jacob Hankins and his family. This boy needs help. His mom needs to stop thinking of herself and help him. She leaves it up to his grandparents and they are old and have raised their kids now she needs to do the same.

Jacobs mom ALWAYS thinks of her kids FIRST... she has always been there for her kids!!! She has did more for her kids than most parents. She has went above and beyond her job as a mother. Hey chicken... if u had kids , u would do for your kids if u were any kind of parent. Don't judge people. The grandparents love their grandchildren and would do anything for them, just like his mother. Jacob's mom has raised her kids to the best of her ability. Kids choose their own path, but u can only do so much for them.

I went to school with Jake for 8 years, I graduated with him, I live 5 houses from his mom. Jake had quite a few drug problems before then was caught, he toned everything down alot before he turned himself in this time around. I always overlooked the drugs, and the drinking. He was a great friend and has always been over the years, I've never smoked or done any sort of drugs, and and as someone straight edge who got along good with someone who did drugs, he never did anything around me. I never got to see much of Jakes mom, I worked with his brother, I think they are very nice people.
