Ironton High School’s "Reach Out 2000" and Whitwell Elementary School’s "Partners" will host a study skills workshop 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the high school cafeteria.

Guest speaker will be Angie Kettel of Tipp City, a graduate of Ironton High and Ohio University.

Mrs. Kettel said she found herself teaching children numerous ways to study when she attended OU.

Reports show that study skills, like focusing on one subject at a time and asking for help when needed, when learned early in kindergarten, keep students studying throughout their schooling years, Mrs. Kettel said.
