Ironton High School students Abby Kleinman and Alisa Philabaun watch the needle being put

in Clark Cooper’s arm by American Red Cross nurse Kay Tierney, while he is comforted by Rachael Perry and Becky Harvey during a blood drive at the school. The National Honor Society organized the annual event to help the Red Cross get needed blood, said Cooper, the club president. More than 60 students, teachers and walk-ins donated blood.
