Brandon and Codey Willis, above, both of Ironton, open their gifts at the Cabletron/Ironton Iron Christmas party Saturday at the Ironton High School gymnasium. Their father, Gary, is an employee of Intermet-Ironton Iron, which recently announced it will close in February. The party was the brainchild of Robert Vanhoose, chairman of Big Sandy Superstores, and was sponsored by several local businesses and community members.
