Professor Harold Hill, played by T.J. Parnell, above, addresses the residents of River City, Iowa, in an attempt to sell them band equipment. It’s all a ruse, however, until Hill is forced to face the music after being the victim of a theft himself when the town librarian, Marian Paroo, played by Rachel Near, steals his heart.
