Rain Montalvo, Katie Romans, Derik Berry and Amber Riley watch a puppet show Thursday at the Head Start daycare at Collins Career Center in Getaway. The puppet show was one of three that were put together by student teachers and the career center’s fire science instructor to teach the children about fire safety. The three shows were scheduled for the first three Thursdays in October. National Fire Prevention week is next week.
