In the weeks to come you will see news articles and news briefs about clothing drives, food drives, toy collections and the like.

When you read them, remember, we are not preaching here. We are simply offering you the information, and opportunity, to help our neighbors.

Some have been dealing with odds that are just too great for weeks, or even months.

Some find themselves in seemingly insurmountable dilemmas overnight.

Look around, find them, take your old clothes, cans of food, new toys, blankets and other items you won’t need this year and offer them to a new home.

We will.

They can offer the saving grace in many people’s lives.
