BEREA – Undrafted rookie Shaun O’Hara will likely start at center in place of injured Dave Wohlabaugh for the Cleveland Browns on Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens.

”I would say Wohlabaugh is a long shot this week,” coach Chris Palmer said after practice Wednesday.

The sixth-year veteran suffered a high sprain to his right ankle on the third play of a 24-10 loss last Sunday at Tennessee. O’Hara, who had played mostly special teams in only three previous games, took over.

”He did pretty well,” Palmer said. ”I was very pleased we did not have any fumbled exchanges.”

If O’Hara starts against Baltimore, he will be across the line from two of the most imposing defensive tackles in the game in Sam Adams and Tony Siragusa.

”It is going to be a challenge,” Palmer said.

Right guard Everett Lindsay would back up O’Hara at center.

Wohlabaugh, defensive back Daylon McCutcheon and tight end Aaron Shea did not practice Wednesday. McCutcheon suffered his second concussion in three weeks and Shea got a deep thigh bruise against the Titans.

Wide receivers Darrin Chiaverini (knee) and David Patten (shoulder) and defensive back Lewis Sanders (ankle), all listed as questionable, did practice.
