Watching her balloon take off, a child at the Lawrence County Early Childhood Center in South Point celebrates the opening day of "Week of the Young Child." The Early Childhood Center houses several programs aimed at educating youngsters such as an early intervention program, early headstart, headstart, pre-school and a pre-school program for children with disabilities.
